An instantiation of the TLS1.2 PRF with a fixed hash function and master secret.

Required Methods

fn prf(&self, output: &mut [u8], label: &[u8], seed: &[u8])

Computes PRF(secret, label, seed), writing the result into output.

secret is implicit in this object; see Prf::new_secret.

The caller guarantees that seed is non-empty. label may be empty: the TLS 1.2 keying material exporter (RFC 5705) passes the application’s label through unchanged.

Dyn Compatibility

This trait is dyn compatible.

In older versions of Rust, dyn compatibility was called "object safety".
